The Trustees of the The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia are delighted to share that the 2027 Living with Aphasia Conference will take place on 18-19 April at the Radcliffe Conference Centre, University of Warwick, UK.
The Living with Aphasia Conference was first created by SLTs Gill Jackson and Gill Pearl, ten years ago. A new committee of 6 speech and language therapists are leading the 2027 conference, with Gill Jackson as an advisor.
The aim remains the same – to provide individuals living with aphasia with a safe space to connect with others, to try new things, and share their experiences of aphasia. Once again The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia are the major funders, with additional support this year from the British Aphasiology Society.
There are 80 places available for people living with aphasia. People are welcome to come alone or with 1 family member or friend. The programme is designed to provide the attendees with an enjoyable two days of learning from each other, trying new activities and socialising, with the overarching goal of building knowledge, confidence and connections.
People can find out more about the conference and book tickets on the Living with Aphasia Conference website: https://ukaphasia.org/
