The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia has approved matched funding for the first united, global aphasia awareness campaign! Researchers at the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre (QARC) at The University of Queensland will lead the project.
People with aphasia, clinicians, and researchers from 40 countries helped to design the campaign.
Aphasia affects how people speak, understand, read and write. Yet many people have never heard of aphasia or do not understand it.
The campaign will use the same clear message around the world. It will use facts from research to help people understand aphasia.

The Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists will help translate the materials into many languages.
